AFCU Bridge Newsletter
The AFCU publishes "The Bridge" newsletter three times a year. This newsletter updates its readers on AFCU activities and contains articles of interest about the American Church in Paris, the American Church in Berlin, and the Vienna Community Church.
Below are the issues of the AFCUBridge covering the last 8 years which you may download. 2011 This issue of the AFCUBridge again contains many interesting articles. Of special note is a discussion of programs at the American Church in Paris which focus on connecting faith to all parts of life (page 4). Also read about services honoring the 10th anniversary of 9/11. The service at the American Church in Paris is discussed starting on page 6 while the service at the American Church in Berlin is discussed starting on page 8. With the annual meeting held in Berlin in May you will find many articles referencing this meeting, starting with comments from AFCU President, Gregg Foster. Be sure to read the articles from the churches that interest you as many positive activities are taking place in all of the three churches; the American Church in Berlin, the American Church in Paris, and the Vienna Community Church. Finally, many of you have contributed to the Faith Into Action campaign for Paris. A comprehensive report on the use of these contributed funds is in this issue of the AFCU Bridge newsletter. AFCU President, Gregg Foster, leads off this issue with an upbeat article reflecting how the good news is with us and the churches of the AFCU in many ways. On page 4 is information about eTapestry, a technology and process which will allow us maintain better contacts with our many alumni and other constituents. The upcoming AFCU Annual meeting in Berlin is discussed, an update on the ACP's Faith into Action campaign is presented and the newsletter also contains other updates on the 3 churches the AFCU supports. 2010 Autumn 2010 Among the many articles you will find are updates by the President and Treasurer on AFCU fund raising efforts on pages 1 & 3, instructions for donating stock on page 2, ACP news and reflections starting on page 5, and the installation of the new ACB Pastor, Stephan Kienberger, on page 8.
You will find many interesting articles in this issue. In addition to reports from the churches in Paris Berlin, and Vienna, there is an inspirational message from the AFCU President, a report on the AFCU annual meeting held in April in Tucson, an article introducing 5 new AFCU Board members and several other articles of interest. Highlights of this issue include an inspiring message from the AFCU President and several Lenten messages from the ministers at the American Church in Paris, the American Church in Berlin and the Vienna Community Church. 2009
